Admission is open to children who will be at least two years, nine months old by September 1st. If a child is not yet toilet trained we will work together with the parents to complete the toilet training process. Applications will be accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis. Priority is given to siblings of children who have attended WCNS, and a balance of age and gender is sought in each class. Financial aid may be available, and applications are held in the strictest confidence.
Watertown Cooperative Nursery School does not discriminate in enrollment or staffing on the basis of race, gender, religion, political beliefs, cultural heritage, sexual orientation, disability, or marital status.
WCNS has traditionally offered a 5-morning-a-week program and priority will be given to families applying for 5-morning spots. In order to provide more flexible options, we have a limited number of 3-morning and 4-morning spots available. There may be a lottery for 3- and 4- day applicants.
New enrollees, please ask about our Summer Camp! We encourage new students to attend a week or more of our summer camp program before beginning school, to become familiar with WCNS in a casual setting.
