In 2023 Watertown Cooperative Nursery School is offering a 6-week Summer Program for children 2.9 to 7 that begins on Monday, June 26th and goes until Friday, August 4th. The hours are from 9am to 3:30pm, 5 days a week, except for the week of July 3rd; that week the program is only offered for 4 days as we are closed on Tuesday, July 4th. There is an option to attend the half-day program from 9AM to 1PM and also an early drop-off option of 8:30am.

Weather permitting, the children are outside the entire morning in our fenced-in play space. Toilets are available and children will be taken at various times to use the facilities and wash hands as well as when any spontaneous need arises. Teachers accompany children at all times.
In case of inclement weather, the children will engage in our well-equipped indoor classroom space.
There is a maximum of 19 children per day and the program is run by our experienced teachers and director. Each week focuses on a theme that is explored in the activities and songs/stories.
The day officially begins at 9:00am with free-play outside until 10:15. Morning snack is served outside from 10:30 to 10:45 after toileting and hand washing. The second part of the morning consists of water play and swimming from 10:45 to 12:00. Stories and singing are from 12:00 to 12:30 and then everyone has lunch from 12:30 to 1:00. Our half day ends at 1:00 and children who participate in the full day will have an opportunity to read, rest, as well as have more free-play and water play outside. Children bring their own snack, lunch, and water bottle to camp.
Cost for WCNS summer camp this year is $475/week for our full-day program and $350/week if opting for the half-day.
The week of July 4th will be only 4 days so the full-day program cost is $390 and the half-day cost that week is $295.
Early drop-off at 8:30AM is an additional $50/week and $40 for the week of July 4th.
There is also a $35 application fee.
Full payment of tuition and application fee are required at time of submitting forms.
